la frase es: “It is not rocket science”
Some may wonder: Why Rocket Science A la Mexicana? It's a good question, I came up with this because I am of Mexican descent and because if one works at NASA, you get called names like “rocket scientists”. You know how we have this popular phrase to indicate some things are not as complicated as we make them? "It is not rocket science", well, this is what this blog is about maybe? This blog combines topics that are sometimes complicated, others that are not: my Mexican heritage, cooking, travel, spirituality, and others about my experiences at NASA. Are you confused now? Come on, this is not rocket science!
The reality is, this blog may be about the search for
identity and the feeling of belonging to two cultures that merge, and the conundrum
of feeling of like you are neither from here nor from there. Possibly this blog
is about cultural self-preservation and seeking acceptance through human
adaptation while embracing new cultures. However, perhaps, it is about the
wonderful experiences that are lived on planet Earth with a mission and a
purpose, in search of a sense of belonging to something greater than human
imagination; perhaps it is about the exploration of space and beyond, trying to
find the origin of my existence from my very imperfect human, spiritual, and cultural
point of views.
